Government forces ended a hostage crisis early Thursday when they killed the last of three rebels believed to have seized eight hostages in the mainly Hindu city of Jammu in Indian Kashmir, senior army official D.L. Chowdhary said. Two hostages died in the gun battle, along with the three militants, he said.
